Worcester Black History Trail

Welcome to the Worcester Black History Trail! This site was created to share and celebrate the story of Black men and women, families, and communities in Worcester. Each point on the trail helps to recognize the rich and important history of people of color in Worcester. The unveiling of the Trail's first five kiosks were celebrated with a ceremony in June 2022. You can learn more about the five installations here, as well as dozens of other sites that will be denoted by kiosks or embedded markers in the future. As a guide, we've created a sister application to be used on mobile devices as an essential guide to the Worcester Black History Trail.
